Matt David is a London-based DJ, broadcaster, music producer, and the creator of CampervanDisco. Beginning his career during the evolution of UK club culture, he has spent over thirty years developing a reputation for technical precision, deep musical knowledge, and an instinctive understanding of how music shapes the energy of a room.

At his peak performing approximately 150 shows a year across UK venues, bars, and clubs, Matt's approach has always been built around carefully constructed journeys rather than quick transitions — blending deep musical selection with live mixing, layering, and extended grooves to create immersive experiences tailored to each environment.

His broadcasting career has spanned some of the UK's most respected platforms, including Kiss FM, one of the country's most influential dance music stations, and Vibe 107.6, where he developed specialist programming and music presentation skills. Alongside his DJ work, Matt has produced and compiled releases for DMC (Disco Mix Club), working with globally recognised artists including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Beyoncé, and Fleetwood Mac.

His work has extended across film and television, with credits spanning EastEnders, Downton Abbey, and several major international film franchises. This breadth of experience across creative disciplines has given Matt a unique perspective on audience psychology and how music functions not only as entertainment, but as a tool for connection and atmosphere design.

CampervanDisco is the culmination of that thinking — a live platform that brings together performance, design, and music to create experiences that go beyond entertainment. Matt continues to perform across a wide range of environments while developing the GBEM framework for live environment design.
